Uviejitobor Confident In PDP-Led Administration’s Commitment to Inclusive Governance In Delta State”
Special Adviser to the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Government Affairs, Hon (Chief) Peter Uviejitobor, has assured of all inclusive government by the PDP led administration in Delta state.
Uviejitobor told Journalists in Asaba that the Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevrwori has so far demonstrated his readiness towards breaking new grounds and achieving goals for the state and its people.
Pointing out the need for Deltans to give required support to the administration to enable the Governor execute his people’s oriented policies and programmes, Uviejitobor said the involvement of a construction giant, “Julius Berger” to execute projects in the state was a pointer to greater things to come.
The two term member of the Delta State Assembly, stated that with the cordial relationship and sound synergy between the Executive and Legislative arms of government in State, Deltans will witness more impactful governance and sustainable growth and development.
The Special Adviser on Government Affairs, expressed optimism of increased revenue flow to the state as the Governor requires good financial standing to execute his dreams for the state.
Uviejitobor maintained that the advancing Delta Project as encapsulated in the Governor’s MORE agenda is on course, even as he encouraged all critical stakeholders in the state to key into the vision of a new Delta State.
The former Lawmaker was on Wednesday sworn-in as Special Adviser, alongside eight others by Governor Sheriff Oborevrwori at the Unity Hall Government House, Asaba.
Uviejitobor represented Udu State Constituency in the 6th and 7th Delta State Assembly between 2015 to May 2023, where he chaired three different committees, including House Committee on Art, Culture and Tourism, House Committee on Lands, Survey and Urban Development and House Committee on Water Resources Development.
